Why use BoilerMatch UK
A fair price
Because installers know they are quoting alongside a couple of other local firms, the price they give you tends to be a keen one rather than a walk-in rate.
We work for you
We are paid by installers for the introduction, never by you, and there is no sales team, no pressure and nothing to sign.
We aim to match you the same working day where we have local installers.
You answer a few quick questions and we do the ringing round, so quotes come to you instead of you chasing firms who never call back.
A short list
No more than three local installers ever see your job, so it is not a free for all.
What we require of installers
Gas Safe registration
Each installer gives us their Gas Safe registration number when they join. We do not check every installer on the official Gas Safe Register ourselves, so please ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card and check them at gassaferegister.co.uk before work starts. A listing on BoilerMatch UK is not an endorsement or guarantee of any installer's work. Oil and electric boilers follow their own competent person routes, so ask which applies to your job.
Building regulations
Boiler work in England and Wales needs to meet Approved Documents J and L and be notified properly. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own equivalents.
Benchmark handover
Ask for the Benchmark checklist to be filled in on the day, because most manufacturers need it before a warranty will stand.
BoilerMatch UK introduces homeowners to local heating installers and you decide who, if anyone, you hire. We are not the Gas Safe Register, we do not fit or repair boilers ourselves, and any quote, work or warranty is agreed directly between you and the installer.
