Homeowner terms and conditions
These apply whenever you send us an enquiry. Please read them before you submit your details.

What BoilerMatch UK is
Contact BoilerMatch UK at hello@boilermatchuk.com. We provide advertising and introductions only. We are not a heating installer, we are not the Gas Safe Register, we do not survey, fit, service, repair or inspect any boiler or heating system, and we do not advise on grants or funding entitlement. Our only role is to pass your enquiry to a small number of independent installers.

No contract for the work with us
Any quotation, contract, deposit, payment, workmanship, guarantee, warranty, certification or aftercare is strictly between you and the installer you choose. We are not a party to that contract, we do not act as agent for either side, and we have no authority to accept, vary, cancel or settle anything on the installer's behalf.

Gas Safe registration and no endorsement
Each installer gives us their Gas Safe registration number when they join. We do not check every installer on the official Gas Safe Register ourselves, so please ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card and check them at gassaferegister.co.uk before work starts. A listing on BoilerMatch UK is not an endorsement or guarantee of any installer's work. An introduction is not a recommendation, approval or guarantee of any firm, individual, price, availability, competence or standard of work, and you are responsible for satisfying yourself about any installer before you agree to anything.

No liability for installers or their work
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BoilerMatch UK accepts no liability whatsoever for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, conduct, pricing, damage, defective work, loss, injury or insolvency of any installer introduced to you, or for any dispute between you and an installer. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

No guarantee of quotes or outcomes
We do not promise that you will receive any quote, a particular number of quotes, a quote within any time, or a price at any particular level. Availability of installers varies by area, fuel, system and season. The service is provided on an as available basis.

Information on this site
Guides, articles and any figures on this site are general information written for homeowners. They are not quotations, valuations, engineering advice or professional advice, and they must not be relied on when deciding what work your property needs. Only a survey by a suitably registered installer can confirm that.

Your details and how they are shared
By submitting an enquiry you ask us to pass the details you give us, including your name, contact details, postcode and a description of the job, to a maximum of three independent installers so that they can contact you about that job by phone, text, email or messaging. You confirm the details you give are accurate and that you are entitled to request work at the property.

Free to use
Our service is free to homeowners and landlords. Installers pay us for introductions. That commercial arrangement does not create any interest for us in the work itself, in the price you are quoted, or in which firm you choose.

Complaints
If something goes wrong with the work, the installer is responsible and should be your first point of contact. If your complaint is about the introduction itself, how we handled your details, or something we have published, contact us at hello@boilermatchuk.com and we will look into it.

General
We may change these terms and will publish the current version here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law rule in your part of the United Kingdom says otherwise.
